I throughly enjoyed every single second of this past month. I know I am more than blessed when I am able to say that. Christmas Break is a time to relax, enjoy family and friends, celebrate the birth of Christ & think about anything BUT school & I did exactly those things. This Christmas break was so much more than just taking time off of school, it was sitting back & realizing how amazing the life I'm living is.
More than anything I enjoyed the time I spent shopping, eating, watching movies and reality TV shows with my sister. More than anything I enjoyed spending countless hours learning the ins & outs of photoshop with my dad. More than anything I loved being showered with my mothers love, concern & support. More than anything I loved coming to the realization that my 15 year old brother still thinks I am the coolest person on the planet, although he will deny that.
When I come home I am blessed by my 5 best friends who bring so much joy & happiness to my heart. We love each other unconditionally & simply being in their presence can turn my day around. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful group of guys in my life who can make me laugh & laugh & laugh.
My life has been blessed & I deserve none of it, but because of the Lord's grace He still gives me those things, because to Him I am worth it. I am so thankful to Him because of the life I know I can always come HOME to. Life is changing & going a million miles an hour right now, but the Lord gave me a wonderful month to come home & rest in Him. I read four books, caught up on all my sleep, woke up with no agenda, spent time with my beautiful family, played games & hung out with my friends, enjoyed home cooked meals & I didn't thank the Lord enough for it all.
I can never say thank you enough for HOME.
